Muthins for the office! Feeding the “fitness loving foodies” of the workplace.

This past Monday, we greeted Wework members with freshly delivered morning breakfast snacks in the spirit of TGIM (Thank God Its Monday). Wework is a hub for inspiring emerging entrepreneurs, passionate start-up teams and freelancers. As millienials continue to enter the workplace, trending food habits are now more and more reflected in the office. From food trucks to office deliveries, this year’s food trends encompass ready-to-eat, fresh weekday breakfast and lunches combined with on-the-go snacks. The healthier choice has never been more important, but the fast-past environment of millenials continues to increase and convenience is becoming crucial Most of us don’t have the TIME to make food decisions, educate ourselves on the difference and then seek to find alternative options.

This is why we have taken the initiative to start delivering Muthins not only to your door at home but also to your office space. And there was no better place to start than Montreal’s first Wework office in Place Ville Marie!

Why did we choose Wework?

Since we are a team of young entrepreneurs, part of our brand mission is to connect, grow and support the habits and health decisions of likeminded millenials.  Earlier this year, PWC explained the importance of us millenials in their report, entitled Millennials at Work: “The millennial generation, born between 1980 and 2000, will shape the world of work for years to come. Attracting the best of these millennial workers is critical to the future of your business. Their career aspirations, attitudes about work, and knowledge of new technologies will define the culture of the 21st century workplace.” In short, if you care about your business, you need to care about millennials.

What do they value as important in their day-to-day grind? What will enhance their working environment to make them feel more comfortable, less stressed and more focused on the task or vision at hand?

Free food! …And healthy?! Guilt-free, energizing and delicious?

Goldman Sachs’ Third Millennial Impact study called millennials “fitness loving foodies”, (does this ring a bell?) who “have more room for healthy indulgences” and they want work to provide that, naturally.

The team at Muthins decided to focus strategically on the long-term affects of providing the healthier choice beyond just free food.

Here’s what we offer:

  1. On site Muthins demo to give a quick educational background of healthy work nutrition and what to look for when choosing the right snack.
  2. Some elements of surprise & delight from our dynamic demo crew.
  3. A quick snack break allowing members to connect and network while they enjoy their healthy treats.
  4. Finally….the best part! Fuel and energy to tackle the next hurdle of the day and continue on their paths of innovation!

Google cofounder Sergey Brin once advised that “no one should be more than 200 feet away from food” (he’s already caught our attention). Some of the great benefits of healthy eating at the office include fewer sick days taken, sustained energy, group synergy, reduced environmental stress and company camaraderie.
